Hayden Shapes Hypto Krypto Review November 30, 2014 – Tags: , ,

Had i have been shown this board ten years ago, i would have thought, this mob will be flat out selling any of these boards! Jump on to 2014 & this is one of the most popular crafts i can remember. Everyone seems to either have a Hypto or know someone that does. How can i personally describe this board? Heaps of fun to begin with, i am not one for knowing bucket loads about boards or confusing my self to much either so il stick with the basics.
Plenty of volume is the first thing that comes to mind with this board making it a pleasure to paddle & obviously getting more waves, this is also helped by the Future flex technology that the board usually comes in, made for extra strength & bouyancy. The next thing that springs to mind is the speed you get down the line on the Hypto, fast as you like & making sections you wouldn’t normally. The pulled in tail is great for when the waves pick up a bit too as you still have the volume for paddling, but can hold in down the line when things heat up a bit.
This board is a must have for guys who want an all rounder & plenty of paddle power, the bio is be able to surf the Hypto up to 8 foot but that would be a bit adventurous for me, i would go to 5 or 6 foot no more. In saying that there is mental footage of Hayden team riders on the Hypto when it is easily 6 foot or more.
