When shopping at TWS you get treated to, the best products, info, video & any other piece of stimulus to make your experience a pleasant & informative one. But recently we have been working on a section that more or less throws all of that out the window, with one massive benefit!
I have done a lot of reading & testing of fins over the years, I must say that there is a lot of information out there, some of which can be hard to decipher if you are new or even experienced in the fin game. The reason for this blog is to give a very basic idea of what fins are going to suit you in very basic terms. I have spoken to alot of customers who have over the years gotten too much info & ended up confused or even with the wrong fins or equipment completely.
I have to say, it has been interesting over the years listening to companies talk about starting in someone's back shed or basement etc & creating that feeling of trust & that you are about to receive the best service off the most passionate sales person you have ever met, only to be met with a fast talking sales man who if he doesn't make his monthly quota will probably be on the dole queue & the next guy will take his place.
I have to say, alot of selling surfing products online, or any products i imagine is spent at a desk, researching, packing, uploading, liasing the list goes on. This is a daily occurence, so if there is a surf contest online, it will be on, all day, whilst the daily routine goes on. Point is, i have watched a lot of contests, a heap of heats & thousands of waves. The point after that is, i am slightly concerned at how the Quiksilver Pro ended up on Friday.
If you are reading this then there is a good chance you are trying to see if the hype around the Lost Puddle Jumper is legitimate? In a nutshell i would say yes, depending on what you are looking for. The Puddle Jumper is similar in shape & appearance as other Lost models, the Bottom Feeder & Lay Z Toy or Boy. The main difference being the responsiveness when turning.
It has been a long 12 months for Tradewind Surf but we have come out the other end ready to rumble in 2015. A total program changeover, making the store, a little easier on the eyes & a whole lot better to use. It's ironic then we think that we have come out of the blocks in 2015 with a fresh new layout, right when the World Surf League has kicked off at Snapper, for their first ever contest, with a whole new look & depending on how you look at it, bigger & better than ever.
Found this gem on Youtube before when i was looking for the soundtrack alone, some legend has uploaded it to the Tube! This video lit a fire under me about surfing as a whole, my brother introduced it to me when i was about 14 & i got hooked on it, i new every wave, the sound track by heart. I am not sure what it was, it seemed like it was a crew of guys, having a sick time, which is what we are all about when we are groms surfing every day!
The much anticipated 2015 Lost Surfboard models have been dropped & Tradewind Surf is the first place to get them online! Possibly in the country, We are working hard to get these new models up on our store with all the info you need to make the right decision when it comes to dimensions of your boards!
I normally come out this time of year & say Happy New Year to everyone & what a great life it is & how happy we are with everything blah blah blah. This year i still think all of those things. Tradewind Surf has had a few troubles & at the risk of sounding cliche at this time of year again, we have come through them & are charging along again, getting you all your surfboards & accessories with ease!
The Tom Carroll Stand up range is now ready to go with us on Tradewind Surf. We believe in a range from Two time World Champ Tom Carroll & if you watch the video attached he will show you what sort of thought he has put in & how passionate he is about his new SUP range.
