Learning how to surf is one of those things that lots of people think about. But only a few take the plunge. Here we want to break down what it means to start surfing & how you can too.

Can I teach myself to surf ?

The short answer is yes. The longer answer is that a surf lesson or two can really help with cutting through the common mistakes that people make when they have never paddled or tried to surf before. How long does it take to learn how to surf ?

The amount of time it takes learning how to surf depends on how prepared you are before you head to the beach. Get the right advice, the right board & the right tips before you make your move. How much does it cost to start surfing –

Surfing is a very cheap sport. There is an initial outlay of around $400 – $500 for a good board & if your flush maybe a couple of lessons, but after that the surfing world is your oyster very cheaply. We recommend buying a good softboard, not top end is needed but nothing under the $400 mark as it is going to cost you money in the long run & also surfing enjoyment.
