In solid 6-8 foot conditions Joel Centeio has hacked and tube riden his way to victory in the Reef Hawaiian Pro taking out last years winner of the Sunset World cup CJ Hobgood, Jay “Bottle” Thompson and Alain Riou. Joel Dominated the great but challenging conditions throughout the whole event and kept the momentum going through the entire final posting a 9.5 ride with a stand up barrel across Haleiwa’s infamous Toilet bowl. Joel now leads the Vans Triple Crown standings leading into the next event at sunset beach
