The DHD Scalpel, is a board that was the brainchild of Darren gaining inspiration from all the travelling he had been doing to the United States. Surfing California beachies, that are clean but lacking in power, (Sound familiar East Coast) led Darren to the creation of the DHD Scalpel. Designed to keep the froth up whilst the waves are down, the Scalpel comes standard with a 5 fin setup & by all accounts races down the line as a quad. With a flyer/diamond tail its a great balance between grab & release. A wider nose for ease of riding in the way of paddle power, wave count & flow through turns is a big draw card of the Scalpel also.
