The Softlite 5’6 Beaker is the high performance fish design from Softlite. It is nice & wide through out but quite straight in the outline, meaning you can catch heaps of waves & still flow through turns & surf when it is hollow. If your a weekend shredder that is forced to surf fun waves in the flags with the fam then the Beaker could be the board for you. This is also the model for the grom who is already shredding but not quite ready to move away from the safety of the softboard yet.
Along with the usual features of the Softlite models this one has a couple of extras. The Rolled Parabolic Rails are great for strength & are even handshaped at one point of manufacturing. They enhance performance & durability that the advanced rider is going to appreciate. The Mesh infused slick, increases strength & rigidness through the board & is a secret in the foamy world, not yet linked to other softboard labels.
