The Aipa Big Boy Sting review. The Aipa range has been a post covid thing for us at Tradewind Surf. We have sold so many different surfboard brands & models over the years. It is fairly easy to start thinking that you have seen it all. But the Aipa range has definitely challenged that view.
AIPA BIG BOY STING REVIEW –
A board for the bigger guys still looking to have performance shortboard qualities. Or also for the guy looking to come back from a longboard & re live his youth somewhat. When we took this board on at Tradewind Surf. We were not sure how the response would be. I think we definitely under estimated it. There was an interest there right away & what felt like an instant following. For the whole brand to be honest.
So what are the riders saying –
Once we sold a few, we waited for the feedback to come in. Regulars were saying that the hip makes this board feel like you are business up the front, party at the back. This board paddles like a nugget, but turns nicely also. I think the Big Boy Sting answers one of those prayers from surfers that I have heard oh so many times. Guys since the beginning of surfing times have been looking for a board that paddles in easy & then performs. If you can tick that box which is the million dollar box to tick. Then you are on your way to having a great board, that stands the test of time.
