The Xanadu Surf Designs review. We have long advocated for Xanadu Surf Designs here at Tradewind Surf. We have yet to give our take on how they go. How our customers rate them & if they hold up etc.
Xanadu Surf Designs review –
For years we have been selling Xanadu Surf designs at Tradewind Surf. They were actually one of our first surfboard labels on our store back in 2007. Since then countless surfers have been riding these crafts. In Australia, they are made in the Stuart Surfboards factory on the Gold Coast. This factory has a reputation for making durable performance surfboards. Which is often a trait missed in when manufacturing performance surfboards. So if you get a Xanadu there is a good chance it is going to hold together.
Xanadu the man & the models –
Xanadu has been shaping since the age of 15 & for years surfed contests around the world. Before dedicating his life to surfboard shaping. Since then, Xanadu has shaped for countless pro surfers with Brad Gerlach riding his boards to 2nd in the world after one year. The previous year on different boards he placed 14th.
The models are a mixture of hybrid performance & fish designs. There is a definite feel of special flare & individuality when you pick up a Xanadu surf design. Perhaps not known as some other brands in Australia, but a solid following all the same & equally as functional boards as anyone on the market.
